I ordered the falafel wrap, which was suggested by the guy who took my order. It was very tasty! I didn't get a photo.....but, you can trust that it was yummy!!!!!

Going to make this one brief and expand upon these thoughts the next time I am sitting in Raffes drinking a beer and enjoying some excellent food. I walked in on a Wednesday evening and was helped by a super knowledgeable man that knew his stuff when it came to beer. I felt right at home when I sat at the bar. I just recently moved to Memphis to be with family, and some of my family members have been here before and have raved about the food. I will be back soon and leave a more detailed and thorough review about the food as well. Go to Raffe's, it's awesome. Draft beer and bottled/canned selection is excellent at a very reasonable price.

They are planning to change their menu. I saw a tip saying they no longer have baba ganoush but with new owners I believe they have brought it back. It's a really relaxed place and you can eat and chill and pay at the end. There's a nice selection of drinks to choose from. This place is pretty cool but it's definitely better if you're into beer. Unfortunately I'm not a big beer person so I was mostly here for the gyro. I liked the gyro, but it wasn't the best I had ever had. They're really friendly here and I would go back.
To Try:
Spicy Gyro

- Gyro
Ok:
- Hummus
Disliked:
- Jam Band Berry Ale -

I had the classic gyro and wasn't that impressed. It was a great size for the price, but it was missing flavor. They have a ton of options, I want to go back and try some of their other dishes.
Still giving them four stars because the lack of flavor wasn't anything a couple dashes of salt and pepper couldn't fix. The staff is really friendly and they are a craft beer heaven. -

Vaish introduced me to this hidden gem on Poplar. What delicious food. The pita is soft and yum, and the babaganoush and hummus are the best in town. My husband couldn't stop raving about how great and creamy the hummus was. Try the winter lentil soup, it is flavored with mint and is quite unique and comforting.
The falafel sandwich is great, very different from what I have had at other places. Friends rave about the gyros too.
And then the beer selection: stellar!
